	Telos is a one-act play that examines why we do what we do; exploring a sense, or rather lack, of purpose amongst the vast majority of humanity. When the man-made concept of purpose is abandoned, what are we left with? Nothing: merely ourselves and our desire to do as we please, often leading to devastating consequences.This work began with looking at the darkness and subject matter of the play itself.&#38;nbsp; With the play touching on some serious and violent topics. We wanted the visual look to mirror that in its grungy and dark presence, as if it was a character itself.The ‘Telos’ lockup was created to reflect the ”In your face” nature of the play and it’s cold presence. The overall design system used through the case study was a reflection of the brutal nature of the play and inspired by the brutalist atmosphere found in a dark and lonely feeling city, just as the characters experienced.︎︎︎Site

SILVERandBLUE CoffeeCategory: Brand Identity
(self-initiated project)

	SILVERandBLUE is a coffee roasting brand based out of Brooklyn, NY and is inspired by the vibrancy of coffee and the many places in which it comes from.The brand identity is designed to capture the energy and versatility of the three different bean types from SILVERandBLUE. The system was created around two main elements — rich colors and versatile typography.The choice to use a typeface that is variable and has a range of different widths came from the idea of representing the sturdiness of the coffee and versatility that comes from the three different coffee beans: Manolo, Kendall and Floryan. With the colors that were chosen, I wanted something that had a deep, yet vibrant color palette with complimentary hues to convey the vibrancy of the coffee beans.The packaging itself maintains a simple design; the box that the beans come in has an aluminum shell with a lid that features the color associated with each of the three coffee beans. The lid itself dawns the name of each bean embossed with its flavor notes alongside. The interior aluminum bag inside contains the beans, with a card that breaks down the tasting notes and process for the respected bean. With the canned versions of the coffee, the design is complimentary in its simple, yet bold approach in its aluminum can and bold colors.FontsMarlide by KontourFit by DJR

	La Lucha is a restaurant in Monterrey Mexico that specializes in al pastor rotisserie chicken.The logo itself was inspired by the delicious chicken that it is represetning. The rough edges of ‘Lucha’ is meant to symbolize the crispiness that comes from the fire roasting process of the chicken. The ‘la’ is a nod towards the flame, and the Comb that is on top of the chickens head itself.The brand colors are inspired by the vibrant colors that can be found in the Mexican style professionsal wrestling, Lucha Libre.
